combining two columns

I have done this before, but can't seem to remember...how
do you combine two columns with text based info. I would
like to take a "house number" from one column and combine
it with the "street name" in another column.

Also, how would i make that data permanent in the new
column so I can delete the other two columns? thanks in
advance. ryan
 
Hi Ryan
Select the data that you want to keep. Choose Copy, then
Paste Special, and choose the Values option.

Copy the column and Paste Special(in place)>Values>OK>Esc
