As far as I know, I need just one track to record onto a
CD-R. But when I clean up an LP into 2 tracks, and then
try to combine them, the Analog Recorder combine function
says that all the Crap that I deleted has to be added
back to the combined track.

If that is how the Analog Recorder works, I don't think
it is useful at all in converting LPs to CDs.

Is there a way to make Analog Recorder not add back the
deleted crap? Or is there some other way to do it?

I have used DME to record lots of albums . I have deleted
tracs, combined tracs and split tracs and never had a
problem.
