combine multiple workbooks? overcome 255 character limit?

I want to combine multiple worksheets from different workbooks into one.
There are text boxes with more than 255 characters that require me to go back
and individually copy all these text boxes...very time consuming. Can I do
it in fewer steps by selecting the workbooks to combine and make one new one?

Why not just select the worksheets you want (You can use SHIFT or CTRL to
select multiple sheets), and then right-click, copy entire worksheet yo your
new workbook. This would transfer the text boxes with the sheets.

this doesn't overcome the 255 character limit.

characters. (using XL 2003). What error are you encountering?
