The problem occurs only in Windows XP running OWC in IIS.
After some idle time after navigate in an ASP page that create an OWC
server object, you receive a message similar as "Com Surrogate
DLLHOST.EXE ...".
This error apparently stopped (and it has been occurred almost all the
time). I did two things and I don't know each of them solved the
problem:
- I set "Application Protection" High (Isolated) in Web Folder
Property
- I have downloaded and installed the update documented in this
article: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];Q322382
I hope this can help someone !!!
