Some system BIOSs have options for what events can trigger a return from
Standby. You may want to check your documentation for information about
this for your computer or contact the manufacturer or if you are comfortable
with your BIOS, look around yourself.

Hope this helps,

I ever try to change BIOS setting but no effect.

The COM port controller seen into power saving mode... The COM port
controller have no IRQ generate. I ever try to install ISA interface 16C552
controller 2 x COM ports card into my system and it have no IRQ generate
when into WindowsXP suspend mode. So I think it maybe need modify COM port
controller driver... How do you think?

Dear Michael,
I ever try to change BIOS setting but no effect. The COM port controller
seem
into power saving mode... The COM port controller have no IRQ generate when
into
Windows XP suspend mode.

I ever try to install ISA interface 16C552 controller 2 x COM ports card
into my
system and it have no IRQ generate
when into WindowsXP suspend mode. So I think it maybe need modify COM port
controller driver...

- Setting the interrupt to wakeup through serial port by BIOS --> test
fail.

- PS/2 mouse: Move mouse can wakeup and have no item to disable it.

- USB Mouse: The Windows XP default USB Mouse driver have one new Power
Management page to control wakeup.

- Serial Mouse: Windows XP Serial Mouse driver have no Power Management
page
and cannot wakeup.

- We have no find any COM port device access (Interrupt) can wake up from
Windows XP Standby mode (not include modem, cause of it through the RI pin
to
wake up system).

How do you think?
