Columns numbered instead of alphabetical.

I have XL that opens with numbers across the columns that
should be alphabetical (ie A,B,C is now 1,2,3). I need
to get the column headers back to their alphabetical
form. The rows are still numeric so now A1 is 11 B1 is
12 etc. Never seen this before and have ran current
virus scans on pc.

Thanks, but on my version (Excel 2002) it is under "tools"-
"Options"-General. You may have to look for it.
