column not hidden/ but not appearing

I have a user who has a several worksheets, however; in two of the
worksheets, if I arrow over, I can see in the function box the information in
columns A and B however; columns A and B do not appear on the sheet! It's
very weird. I've tried to unhide them, and if I go to edit, go to and type
in a1, it takes me to cell c1. But, as I stated, if I arrow over to the
left, what appears in A1 appears in the function box. Please advise...

Could be the column widths have been set to very very narrow.
