column lines contiue through text when printing

When printing a document that has tables in it, the column lines continue
through text however do not show up on page or preint preview??
 
What kind of lines is this? Border lines? Graphics? Autoshapes?

Are you saying that the lines are printed, but you cannot see them in any
view? That is certainly strange.
