Column headings question

I have Excel configured with Column Headings in "numbers" rather than in
"letters".
How do I change the Column Headings back to letters?
The way the worksheet looks now is:

1 2 3 4 5 ...
1
2
3

Tools/Options/General - deselect R1C1 reference style
Bob Umlas
Excel MVP

From the Excel main menu:
<tools><options><general tab>
UNcheck: R1C1 reference style

You woulf find it under the general tab then under settings it is the first
checkbox.
