Column heading names

This sounds silly, normally I don't handle questions like this but we have a user in Mexico (Excel 200) who says that all his column headings (A, B, C, etc) have now switched to numbers. So he has row headings of 1,2,3 etc and column headings of 1,2,3, etc.

I have looked all over to find how he did it to undo it and have not found anything to fix it...

Anyone have any idea how to remedy this?

I rarely use excel but I am the only person available write now to fix this.

Tools | Options | General tab | Settings | deselect R1C1 reference style
