Does anyone know of any function that returns a value based on the colour of
a given cell.

The FontColor and BackColor properties of a textbox (or a spreadsheet cell,
in Excel) can be read or set at runtime. Those properties in Access can only
be saved in Design View.

In a continuous form, the font color and back color can be set for a field
using Conditional Formatting. Access datasheet colors apply to the entire
datasheet.

Arvin,

How are you holding up after this last one?
Ready to move to Oregon yet?

Depending which way the wind's blowing, he may be there yet!

Arvin posted to our private group that he survived with little damage this
time, but I suspect it may be a while before he's back posting here.

Hi Doug,

Yeah, you could be right on the wind!

Good to hear he's OK.
Thanks for the update.

It would take more than a stinking hurricane to keep me away. For a while
there I was using a generator to juice up my computer.

Nah! Y'all are stuck with me. :-)

Now there is a true Access Junkie!
Nah! Y'all are stuck with me. :-)

We wouldn't want it any other way Arvin!
Good to hear you are OK!
