Colour schemes - Accent and hyperlink

In changing the colour scheme for my hyperlinks I came across the phrase
"accent and hyperlink". I managed to sucessfully change the colour of my
hyperlinks but am intrigued as to what the "accent" refers to?

Excuse my naivety!

Plf100,
Once you have used the hyperlink during your slideshow the colour will
change to the accent colour. This way you can see if the hyperlink has been
used already or not. Suppose you have a menu slide which contains four
hyperlinks to other slides/custom shows, upon returning to your menu slide
you will be able to see which parts have been shown and which not.
Does this make any sense for you?

Thanks Luc. I knew the hyperlink changed colour once used but didn't realise
that was the name for it.
