I’d like to give my autoshape’s colors a more metallic look.
Is there any library out there that offers color additional to the default
in VBA?

You don't need a "library", you can format most autoshape attributes to any
colour you want.

Right click, format, Fill (or Line) color, more colors, etc

Colours for Fonts are limited to those available in the palette, which of
course you can custom.

If you are particularly interested in finding "good" colours in Excel
contact me privately, something in the pipeline! (address disguised in the

I don't understand what you mean. As I said before, you can apply format
autoshape's fill and line to any colour you want, what more do you want in
the way of "color options". You are not restricted to the palette colours.
Also look at the Preset gradients.
