colors for shading

I work w/ a lady who's biggest complaint against Excel is
that there are not many colors to choose from when it
comes to shading or picking the color of the font in
Excel. Is there a way of adding more colors to choose
from?

the only way I know is to go to Tools>options > color

you'll see the palette editor.. you can select one color and modify it
to the color you want.

This doesn't add more colours, you will still be restricted to a 56 colour
palette, but it will allow you to change them.

Other than that, 56 is the maximum number of colours.
