How do you highlight or color text/cell in a protected
workbook?

In xl2002+, you can protect the worksheet and allow formatting.

In earlier versions, you'll have to unprotect the sheet, format the cell, and
reprotect the sheet.

(Did you really mean protected worksheet--not protected workbook?)
