Surely one of you experts has a solution for the below
case...

Anyway, I've tried all of the tricks in trying to obtain a
gradient fill on a non-chart, non-drawing object, range of
cells, but so far to no avail. So, my most basic question
is this: how do I create a gradient fill for a range of
cells, say e5:m23?

I know that I can apply a gradient fill to a non-chart
excel drawing object, but how do I accomplish the same for
a range of cells?

Thnak you in advance.

Mark :)

AFAIK the only way to do this would be put a transparent auto shape over the
cell. If you want the results of the underlying cell, use add text and type
in =c12 in the FORMULA box, not the shape itself.

Thank you Don, but I am convinced there is an easier way.

Anybody else?

Mark :)
