Midge

I recently purchased a new Dell 4700 system and I am
having problems getting the screen saver pictures the
right color and brightness along with having my saved
Photos in the right colors. Can you help me to know how
to set all of the settings. My old monitor had a great
colorful screen along with all of the photos having great
color. Will appreciate any help you might give me.
Thanks

If there are any issues with screen quality and performance then take this up
will Dell.

Being a new PC [and monitor] they havea duty under warranty and terms and
conditions of sale.

Anything else is a waste of time.

Midge may be referring to something like calibrating the gamma so that
the colours on the monitor look "true-to -life", which, if available,
would be a function of the video adaptor settings under Control Panel-->
Display. Unless, of course, your assumption that it is a hardware fault
is correct.
