I have a Canon i900D. One day the colors on my pics changed (green became
orange, etc.). I had printer repaired, replaced print head, all to no avail.
I purchased a new Canon Pixma IP6000D and lo & behold! the same problem!! I
have attempted to use Windows printer troubleshooter...no help. HELP,
PLEASE!!!

Is the problem with the IP6000 within the first couple of weeks of purchase?
Genuine Canon ink?

Is this the old USB cable or did you purchase a new one with the new
printer?

From which application(s) are you printing your graphics?

IP6000 straight out of box. Always genuine Canon ink purchased from Canon
estore. I was printing photos from Canon Easy Photo print, Microsoft Digital
Image, Microsoft Picture It!, and graphics from PrintMaster. All the same
output. Will try cable (if that's successful, I'll be too embarrassed to
post). Thanks for replying.

Sadly, it was not the cable. Best I can remember, I didn't change anything
(or install anything) before the problem started.

Try a different USB port..... the preference is one that is on the rear of
the motherboard or PCI card (ie not on the front of the case or one on a
hub.
