Hi. I have a text box in my report...

=[prjDescription] & " " & [prjStatusComments]

Is there anyway that I can format the font of the second half
(prjStatusComments) only? I would like to bold it or make it red or
something to have it stand out. Anway, let me know if this is possible.

Thanks much!

Hi Stacey,

Is there reason for not just using two separate text boxes with their
own formatting?

Clifford:
The only reason is to save space. When I have them separated it makes the
information and report a bit longer.

Thanks,
Stacey

Hi Stacey,

I presume when you tried that, that you had the Can Grow and Can Shrink
properties of both of the boxes set to Yes. If not, you may wish to try that.

As a possible solution, which I have not tried, how about making the
current box so it's text is red. Then adding a new box that contains only
the description, and its text would be black. Place it exactly so the top
left corners are in the exact same location. Make sure both have their
backgrounds set to transparent. As you will have added the second box after
the first, it should end up on top of the first one, and therefore show/print
over top of the first one, so the description text should end up black with
the comments in red. Maybe?
