Color Display Setting Problem

When I open Outlook 2002 my computer flickers, the screen goes black and then
the color settings change to the lowest resolution. I have to go to the
display settings everytime and reset to 32 color. Does anyone know how to
fix this problem?
 
You might want to check your PC manufacturer or vid card site for upgraded
vid drivers
 
I already tried this. I have been using the program for several years and
all of the sudden this started happening.
