Excel XP has this smart feature:

When you enter a formula that contains references to other cells yo
can see those references as colored boxes in the sheet. You can als
point at the colored box and move the refererence to another cell i
needed.

It's a great faeture, but I can't seem to move several of th
references at one time?

I have lets say 10 cells in coloum F10-F19, and a formula that point
at cells in coloum D. What I need is to be able to mark cells F10:F1
and change reference to cells in coloum E instead.

Now I have to point at F10 and move the reference manually, but I see
to remember it's possible to move several in one move, but can't fin
the answer. You know the solution

This may not be what you are looking for, but I would select the range F10:F19, move the blue box for the cell with the focus and then press CtrlEnter. This will fill the formul in the selected range.

Did you resolve your pivot table problem?
