J JerryM \(ID\) Apr 14, 2007 #4 As an alternate, to use a transparent setting, Right click Computer, select Properties. Click - Advanced system settings, Under Performance, click settings button, Scroll down and check - Use drop shadows for desktop Icons. Good Luck, Jerry
