Color a row (fill) based on value of a cell

Is there a method to to set the fill color of a row based
on the value a cell??
Example:
I wish to have the backround (fill) color of a row (cells
a->h) set to red based on the text string held in cell d.
is this possible? Is it a simple thing to do?

Select A1 to H1.

Format>Conditional Formatting>Formula is: =$D$1="string"

Set the Format to Red Pattern and OK your way out.
