Hi,
it seems that both apps don't coexist while running. i was
working in the cover design section of Nero, while playing
a disk with WMP, and the pc suddenly froze. had to reboot
manually. the second time WMP stopped responding. had to
close it from task manager. i then was reported by it that the
cause might be external plug-ins(?!)
any comment?

If you have Nero why are you still using the other inferior application?
WMP is nothing but trouble to begin with. Like most other Microsoft stock
applications needs a special NG if it's own and has the most troubles of
every other choice.

Perhaps you're running with the WMP plug-in from Nero as well? Which
version of WMP?
