Collapse User tree when windows explorer opens

When I open windows explorer my user is not collapsed. I only want the
computer portion to be expanded i.e. Hard drives instead of having to scroll
down to expand them. Anyone know how to do this?

Try a desktop shortcut with a command line such as

%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /n,/e,C:\

to get a new window expanded and focussed on the C drive
