Code for the scroll wheel on the mouse???

Does anyone know if it is possible to stop the scroll
wheel on the mouse from adding a new record. I have
programmed a button on the form to add a new record, but
when a user is just trying to enter the info on the form,
and accidentially uses the scroll button, it adds a new
record or moves to the next record. Can I stop it from
doing any of these tasks?
