Code for going to the switchboard?

Is there code that we can attach to a button that will take us to the
switchboard? That would be neat. I could then put a button on the main
forms that we all use so that user (meaning me, most of the time <g>) can
avoid going through the Window pulldown each time. I chose to have one
taskbar reference to Access in general and not to have one for every open
item because valuable taskbar real estate is saved, but the downside is that
moving between screens is a bit more cumbersome. With a button to go to the
switchboard wherever it's needed, and without having to minimize windows,
end of problem. Thanks so much.

Make sure that the wizard is turned on (the "magic wand" icon in the
toolbox), and add a command button to your form.

Select "Form Operations" from the Categories list that's presented, and
"Open Form" from the actions, then click on the Next button. Select the name
of your switchboard form from the list that's presented, and click on the
Next button again. Choose whether you want text or an icon on the button,
click on the Next button yet again, name the button, and click on the Finish
button.

Oh, oh. What if I don't have that listed? In the "Choose Builder" box that
comes up I have:

- Expression Builder
- Macro Builder, and
- Code Builder.

Is something wrong with my installation?

(The tooltip I have for the magic wand says "Build", btw and the icon does
look like a magic wand. I think I've pressed the right thing.)

Thanks. :blush:D

Wrong "magic wand". I said to look for the one in the Toolbox (when the form
is in Design mode). If you don't have the toolbox visible, select Toolbox
from the View menu.

Sorry, so much to take in at once (I'm a little stretched, too, as in
the middle of contract negotiations). When I get to office, will look
for it. Thanks much! :blush:D
