Code for ADO.NET: The Complete Reference

Hell All. I am trying to use ADO.NET: The Complete reference by Michael and
Denielle Otey . I wanted to download the code from the publisher's (Osborne)
website BUT when I go to the Osborne website and enter this title into the
"Search For" space, it says it cannot find that book. I suppose it is
because it is several years old. I am trying to use the "Finding a Record in
the DataTable" on page 366.

Would anyone have the Code to this Book and be willing to email it to me?

but you might be able to try it in here.

I give it a random number of 10% chance of working - but I would still try
it in your position.

I tried it Miro but no luck. All I could find was "Chapter 20 of SQL
ADO.NET" book and it stated that it was part of a musical collection. But I
thank you for your suggest nevertheless. Jim

Sorry to hear that. I probably should have given you a 5%, but I hope the
10% gave you the general idea.

Whats the actual error you are getting?

I have an ado.net book for 2005 by microsoft im going thru, and since I have
upgraded to 2008 express then before I start on any solutions, I must load
them up first and change the connection strings to my computer.
For some reason they all point to a .dbo file now instead of the supplied
mdf file.

You mentioned an 'error' in one of your other posts. Wondering what it is.
Someone can probably read it here and help you out.

Well Miro, today is my lucky day. I called Osborne's customer service and
they referred me to Tech Support and a nice gentleman named Gregory found
the code files and sent me a link to them. I now have them downloaded and on
my PC.

Uou asked about the error that I was having. It involves SQL Server 2000 and
I have it posted in sql.misc newsgroup. All of my projects (solutions) that
connect to a Database in SQL will not run and get the error. My projects
(solutions) that connect to a Database in Access 2000 run just fine.
