code 10

i tried hooking up my dell jukebox mp3 player up through a usb cable. at
first it says it is connected and then all of a sudden it isn't. then it just
flips back and forth between being connected and not. i get a code 10 then it
says that there is no driver on my mp3 player. and now i cant even hook up my
phone through the usb cable. i never had this problem before. i have tried
all the troubleshooting help was offered anyone know what i can do to try and
fix this?

bad cable? Try connect direct to the port.
