Im running a dual boot with XP home and Win 2000 pro. I installed Win 2000 and I can no longer boot XP. And I cant find my COA. Is there a way to get the COA for XP in Win 2000? Or if I have to can I get another COA and install from my XP disk?

You do not need the COA to install XP. What you do need however, is
the Product Key. Unless you can boot to XP, you can not use a utility
to display the product key. Having said that, why do you need to
reinstall XP?

In order to restore the dual boot with XP, you need to boot your
system with your XP CD and enter the recovery console. From the
recovery console you can repair the XP boot sector. You do not need
the product key to enter the recovery console. What you need is your
administrator password if you assigned one when you first installed XP
Home. Otherwise, just press enter.

Greetings --

All you should need to do is repair WinXP's boot files. You
shouldn't need the Product Key to do that. (Although you'll want to
get and record the Product Key as soon as you do get back into WinXP.

Installing Win2K _after_ WinXP replaces WinXP's system files
(BOOT.INI, NTLDR, & NTDETECT.COM) with Win2K's older versions, which
cannot recognize the newer WinXP as a valid OS. Simply replace these
older files with WinXP's files.
