I guess they kind of shot themselves in the foot with these wrapped

It was one of those things they probably knew was going to be balked at,
but still made enough $$ to justify a 'temporary' shitware wrapper. I
wonder how long they projected it would last before major tech blogs
zoomed in on it?

I heard glimmers of their unholy "packing" back in about April 2011, but
adding the hidden apps didn't hit the streets until August, at least
big-time.
