I use to be able to add the cmd "-nohome" by right clicking the quick launch IE6 icon and adding it to the Start in or Target box. I did it this way to launch several IE6 pages that were blank. The advantage was that I could still set a home page to the IE6 Home icon and not have to set it to About Blank:.

What exactly is your question?
What happens when you right-click the icon, select Properties and add
it to the command already in the Target box?

That's the problem. Nothing happens. I cannot get the tweak to work with a new computer I bought recently.

What is the Target line you used? (exactly)
It tried this and it works fine: (your path may vary)

"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" -nohome

Alan, thanks, it seems to be working now, maybe adding the space after the quotes made it work now.

You're welcome.
It certainly could not work without the space.
