cmd.exe

Had a virus and got rid of it but now command prompt cmd.exe keeps popping up
for just a split second but makes typing very difficult.
Anyone know how to repair this?

the genuine cmd.exe doesn't
do that.

your o.s. is still infected.

Try getting a virus protection program, such as Norton AntiVirus
 
Cheers. Had AVG running but virus got thru it. Suppose I will have to
reinstall Windows. Thx anyway

Set AVG to do a boot scan so it can remove any virus before it gets
control. A reinstall isn't needed.
