Closing Down IE 6.0

When closing down Internet Explorer 6.0 (Using Windows
Me), I am seeing an error Every time! The message is as
follows.

START OF ERROR MESSAGE

Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and
needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of something, the information
you were working on might be lost.

(Tick box) Restart Microsoft Explorer.

Please tell Microsoft about this probem.

We have created an error report that you can send to help
us improve Microsoft Internet Explorer. We will treat this
report as confidential and anonymous.

To see what data this error report contains, click here.

Button "Send Error Report" Button "Don't Send"

END OF ERROR MESSAGE

I have sent the report to Microsoft on countless occasions
but have still not received a reply.

Anyone got any advice?

Hi Simon - Try installing/re-installing hotfix 818529, June 2003, Cumulative
Patch for Internet Explorer, here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/critical/818529/default.asp
This updates mshtml.dll which is the most common cause recently of this
problem. Also run a check for spyware using AdAware and SpyBot S&D -
Xupiter and some other malware can also sometimes cause this.
