closing connections

Hello

when i turn off my computer from start/turn off computer, its says
closing internet connections then windows is shutting down. I got dsl and
been having
problems and it has never closed internet connections when i turn off
computer before.
Does anyone have any ideas on whats going on?

It's not clear from your post that there is a problem. Does it shut down
ok, boot up ok, run ok?

Thanks for your reply , sure do appreciate it. my computer shuts down ,
starts and restarts ok. I just have the feeling that when i shut it down it
loses the internet
connection because even during the day when computer is on i lose the
internet connection if i am offline for more than a min.. I have to run my
help center or restart computer to get back on line.
I am sorry for bothering you folks with this but when i noticed the
"closing the internet connection" deal i thought it might have something to
do with losing the connection evertime i get off the internet.

Ok, you're welcome. Sorry I can't help with the either question. I haven't
worked with DSL.
