closing a form

I want to close a form before it is finished and have none of the data that
was entered to be saved. I have several required fields and a sub form on the
main form.
For example if the person starts a new record but can not finish it at this
time I want the partial record not to be saved to the table. The table is
filtered through a query.
At this time it will not let me do this because of the required fields on
the form.
Any help who be gratefully appreciated.
