Close the Program

Hi everybody...

I'm a beginner and need help.

I want to do a application that open a PDF file...

I created a form in Visutal C# 2005 Express Ed. with this code:

static void Main()

{

Application.EnableVisualStyles();

Application.SetCompatibleTextRenderingDefault(false);

Application.Run(new Form1());

System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(@".\pesquisa.pdf");

Application.Exit();

}

This works perfectly when I "CLOSE" the program. But I want that it
automatically open the PDF file and self close the application.

How can I do that?

The command "Application.Exit();" doesn't work.

Thanks..

sorry my english.

Guilherme,

the following example will open your file on startup and then close your
application. U might not be able to close the application because it
isn't initialised.

namespace FileTest
{
public partial class Form1 : Form
{
public Form1()
{
InitializeComponent();
}

private void Form1_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(@"test.pdf");
Application.Exit();
}
}
}
