I keep changing the time, but it always reverts to one
hour earlier the next time I click on to the internet. It
is supposed to be synchronized with the internet.

Is there a way to fix the time so that it remains correct?

Double-click your clock to open the Date/Time control panel. Click the Time Zone tab. At the bottom of that window, click to put a checkmark next to "automatically adjust for daylight savings time".
