Google for "show seconds in desktop clock"; I Dnloaded a free utility that
shows Day, Date, Time w/seconds. See site I used below. Don't know if Windows
can be modified.

Thanks for the info. I was looking for a way that Windows XP itself could be
modified to show seconds on the clock.
