Lately my W2K system clock has not been keeping the correct time despite
the proper timezone settings, etc. Clues as to what I should look for
to find and correct the problem?

Change the cmos battery on the mobo.

If the clock is losing time, then the most likely culprit
is the CMOS battery on the motherboard. Replace it and see
what happens. (BTW, replacing this battery could also result
in the loss of bios settings...note them before making the
battery change.)
