I am running xp pro and while I am using the computer the clock keeps resetting

I have tried the following

Updating virus software which I do anyway

running adware
ran spybot

tried resinking my internet time
checked for the proper time zone

Have you checked battery on your motherboard? Typically when bios cmos
battery runs out of power, your bios settings are reseted and clock is reset
to past time. It shouldn't be set to future time.

Even if yo have scanned fo viruses, you still might have a program causing
this. It might be old program, which cannot somehow handle current time. Or
it can be unknown virus or similar. You could try scanner named HijackThis.
You can find it with Google.

Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 has configurable user rights. Meaning that you can
set whict users has permissions to reset computer clock. You could define
oridinary user without this priviledge and also turn on security audits. You
might then see from event viewer, which program is trying to reset the
clock.
