clipboard

The clipboard will only hold one item at a time. When that item is used, it is deleted from the clipboard. Is there a fix for this? Thanks

Hi Monty,

The clipboard will only hold one item at a time.

No... it depends on your settings and version of Word, but in my Word2002,
the clipboard holds up to 24 items.

When that item is used, it is deleted from the clipboard.

When an item is used (inserted), it isn't deleted from the clipboard.
I don't know which version you use, but I recommend you look at the help
topics on the Office clipboard, and, if you are using Word2002/2003, display
the clipboard task pane ("Edit > Office clipboard").
In Word2000, check out the clipboard toolbar ("View > toolbars").
