Ocassionally I would like to view the contents of the clipboard on my XP
Home edition. On my old ME OS it was located under system tools. Where is
it in XP ?

You can get to the clipboard viewer by going to Start | Run, and typing
clipbrd.
 
Go to My Computer, select windows folder, then system32 folder and find
clipbrd, right click on it and choose send to desktop. Then you will find an
icon on the desktop.
