Clipboard will not clear

I copied a section off a site that I didn't know I wasn't supposed to copy.
Now, Microsoft Office will not let me copy or paste ANYTHING. I have gone in
and tried to clear the clipboard, but it won't delete it from the clipboard.
I cannot copy or paste anything into Microsoft Word, and if I try to copy
onto a website, all I get is "Do not copy or print this page." Is there any
way to get rid of this?

Thanks!

You can help us to help you by providing basic information such
as what versions of Word/Office and Windows you have, whether
your computer is networked or standalone, and the complete and
exact text of any error messages you see.

The obvious thing I'd try first is to close Word and all other
open applications, shut down the computer, and then restart the
computer.

If restarting doesn't help, then as a guess, see
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/840872 "You may not be able to
paste an item in an Office 2003 program after you connect to a
Windows Server 2003-based server that is running Terminal
Server". Of course, if this article applies to your situation,
then you probably have an army of computer support people you
could(should) talk to regarding the problem, and you probably
don't have sufficient permissions to fix the problem yourself anyway.

I recommend exactly what Garfield-n-Odie said.

However, failing that, the only other thing I can think of is completely
uninstalling Microsoft Office and reinstalling. You can still keep your
docuements/presentations/spreadsheets etc. but reinstall the Office programs.

Hope this helps.

Uninstalling and reinstalling Word or Office almost never solves problems
because it does not overwrite Normal.dot or the Registry or remove add-ins
from the Startup path. Moreover, the Clipboard is a Windows application.

I wasn't quite sure whether the OP was talking about the Windows
clipboard or the Office clipboard.
