Does anybody know if the clipboard has a maximum
capacity? If so, I think I've reached it! Thanks!

The Office clipboard has two capacity limits.
First, it can hold a maximum of 24 items in Office 2002 and 2003, and 12 in
2000. Prior to that, it held one at a time, unless you figured out the
intricacies of the Word Spike (which few people did, and which has nothing to
do with Excel, anyway). When this limit is reached, the oldest items are
bumped off to make room for new ones.

It also has a size limit, determined by the available RAM and resources on
your computer. It will generally tell you that it can't complete the
operation if it hits this limit. If there are already items on the Clipboard,
you can clear them to free additional resources, and this often helps. (I do
a lot of screen captures, so often I can only fit 3 or 4 items on the
Clipboard).
