Windows clipboard: holds one item
MS Office clipboard: holds multiple items but only works with Office
programs
Third party clipboards: many possibilities included multiple "clips"

Thank you Sharon. ya thats what I heard elsewhere also.about MS office, but it
does'nt do any good when your IE ing. Is there any 3rd party clips
specifically that anyone could recommend? thank you again

Do Google search for free application called Clipomatic which allows you to
save a number of items on the clipboard as well as saving them for future
use ion clip sets and quick sets.

I use one called Clipboard Magic. It has just about every option you can
imagine. Sits in the tray and keeps everything you copy in a file. The file
can be saved as a text file and searched. I have mine set to save 1000
instances of Copy. You can click the tray icon to view the list and click
any item and paste it anywhere you wish. It's also Free.

I use Clipmate - www.thornsoft.com. Single licence, covering two
computers, is $29.95
