clip art with in word xp professional

For some reason I have lost the ability to use clip art in office. I
keep getting the message clip organiser cannot complete the operation,
no such interface supported error code 0x8000-4002. I used to be able
to use clip art perfectly but now I cant. What is wrong? I have
tried installing Office again and also rolling back to office 2000. I
can get office 2000 working with clip art but not xp. Also when I
install office 2000 and try to remove office xp I get a message which
says something about a patch missing.

Please help before I go to the lengths of formatting my hard drive and
installing everything all over again as a last resort!!!!
