Clip art Viewing problems

hi,
in any MS Word document that i add clip art to i can not see a preview of
the clip art that i 'can' insert. If i click a clip to insert it will do so
and i am able to see it in the document.
only the frames that are supposed to hold the clip art are displayed in the
insert clipart dialog box, but the clips which are supposed to be previewed
which are used so that you can see what you are inserting are not shown.
any help is appreciated
thanks
chez

Hi

I had this with problem with images but I'm betting it's the same thing.
Try

Tools, options ,display and you should find a box which tells Word not to
load pictures etc but just the frame (to stop docs from becoming too heavy)
Sorry if the labels I use aren't exactly the same as on your computer but
mine isn't in English and so I have to guess the translation.

In English it's Tools | Options | View: Picture placeholders.
