I set up a modem on the Win2k server for on-demand internet access for network users. I created a Demand Dial Interface in RRAS. How do I get the clients to use it for internet access? All the clients are using Win XP.

Separately, I want the WinXP clients to use their Windows fax program to use the modem on the server. Any way to configure this without a 3rd party app?

Hi,

On the RRAS box add a static routefor the demand dial connection:

Click IP Routing, then right click on Static routes. Enter the following
route:

Destination: 0.0.0.0

Network Mask: 0.0.0.0

Gateway: 1.1.1.1

Metric: 1

Interface: <name of the demand dial interface>

next set the client's default gateway to the internal network card of the
RRAS
router.
