Client Total

Please be patient with me as im not to good with reports and have troubles
conveying what im after But here goes.

i have a query which i have run a report from. the report has Page header,
Cat Code header section ,catergory header, detail and footers to match the
headers.

In the catergory footer is counts up and shows the number of detailed
records for the category (GOOD) and also adds up the time on each record
(GOOD). What i want to do is to have the total individual clients for each
category in this section as well. (As a client could have used each category
more than one)

Then in the Cat code footer i want the total number of individual clients
for all the catergorys with the that code. (Each Category is allocated a code
either 1-5).

The report shows the cat code 1 then shows all categorys relating to the one
and then goes onto cat code 2 and shows the categorys for it which is the
layout i want. I just need to get total numbers for bother sections.

Is this possbile??

If you need more information just ask. Sorry if i am confusing anyone.

Thanks

Hi, Andrew C,

All your questions require the same answer: become familiar with the Sorting
And Grouping icon in the report toolbar. With this icon, you can sort and sub-
sort, as well as add or remove headers and footers at will. Fiddle with this
feature, and you will figure out for yourself how to do all the things you
asked.

Hope I was helpful,

Sam
